Books and Classroom Desks Donation Project to Attakurase M/A Primary/JHS (June 13, 2024)
We are excited to announce our latest initiative to support education in rural Ghana: the Books and Classroom Desks Donation Project for Attakurase M/A Primary and Junior High School. Located in the heart of the Ajumako Enyan Essiam district in the central region of Ghana, this school is situated off a branch road on the Ajumako-Essuekyir road.
Attakurase M/A Primary and Junior High School serves as a vital educational institution for the children of Attakurase and neighboring communities. Despite the dedication and efforts of the teachers and staff, the school faces significant challenges due to a lack of essential resources. Many students do not have access to sufficient learning materials, and the classrooms are in dire need of proper desks and seating arrangements.
Our mission is to create a conducive learning environment that will inspire and empower the students of Attakurase M/A Primary/JHS. By providing much-needed books and classroom desks, we aim to enhance the educational experience and ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We are seeking donations of new or gently used books suitable for primary and junior high school students, as well as sturdy classroom desks. Financial contributions are also welcome and will be used to purchase these items and cover transportation costs. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in the lives of these students.

OPERATION FEED THE STREET CHILDREN
(DECEMBER 25, 2023)
One major objective of FAMARFO CHILDREN FOUNDATION is to feed hungry kids. We envision a world where no child goes to bed hungry. In the U.S. and internationally, we are dedicated to helping families and communities achieve stable lives and to reducing the need for help tomorrow, while providing food and resources to help them today. We distribute product donations from corporate donors to local community partners, we provide support for parents, and we mobilize resources quickly to aid recovery efforts when natural disasters strike. We welcome partnerships because we know our work would not be possible without collaborative relationships.
Our first project was operation feed the children’s in the areas of Medina, Atomic junction, Railways circle and Medina Zongo junction. Not only did we feed the children and their parent on the 2023 Christmas Day but also empowered hundreds of street-connected children through guidance and workshops on essential issues (health, education, family planning, etc.). Earning the trust of a child on the street takes time, thus our volunteers initiate contact with them and slowly build a trusting relationship
